The Flight South
Tuesday · June 16
6:15 PM – 8:45 PM · Nonstop
Baltimore → Orlando
Flight 3777 · Boeing 737 MAX8 · BWI → MCO
Evening flight — 2h 30m nonstop. Four passengers. Land at 8:45 PM. Lala and Pa will pick you up at MCO and drive everyone straight to the condo. Straight to Caribe Cove Resort in Kissimmee — about 25 minutes from the airport.
·
Pack carry-on snacks — dinner will be late, feed the kids on the plane or before boarding
·
Car seats — already at Lala & Pa's place, no need to fly with them

Settle In at the Condo
Caribe Cove Resort · Kissimmee, FL 34747
Unpack, get the kids into bed. Lala and Pa are already set up — one less thing to worry about. Since the resort doesn’t have a kitchen or easy late-night food option, ask Lynne (Lala) to order and pick up dinner for everyone on the way from the airport. Keep it simple and get to bed early.

Safari, Pandora, trails — best park to start with Lala and Pa
Donuts
Best around 10:15 after a real breakfast and Safari. Use the Joffrey's kiosk at the Animal Kingdom entrance as an easy split-donut stop on the way in or on your first loop back toward Discovery Island. One shared donut with water keeps it fun without the hard sugar crash.

🍹 Drink Guide
Best Unique Cocktails
Tempting Tigress — Nomad Lounge, Discovery Island near the Pandora bridge
Best true “adult reset” in the park: table-service lounge energy, creative cocktails, and a shaded break before or after Pandora.
Lost on Safari / Malawi Mango Margarita — Dawa Bar, Africa
Dawa Bar is one of the most distinctive park bars on property, with African beer plus house cocktails like Lost on Safari and Malawi Mango Margarita.
Frozen specialty drinks — Thirsty River Bar, Asia near Expedition Everest
Best heat-break stop if you are moving between Asia and Everest and want something cold without a big detour.
Route-Optimized Stops
Morning to midday: skip alcohol until after Safari / Pandora priorities are done.
Best first stop: Dawa Bar after Kilimanjaro Safaris while everyone is already in Africa.
Best sit-down break: Nomad Lounge after Pandora if waits spike or the kids need shade.
Best moving stop: Thirsty River Bar if dad and 6yo head toward Everest.
Parent Note
Keep this to 1–2 adult drinks total here. Animal Kingdom gets hot fast, so this park is better for one great cocktail and one cold backup stop than a full drinking loop.
~7:30 AM · Breakfast at Condo
Fuel Up & Head Out
Eat a real breakfast at the condo and get out the door early. Animal Kingdom is about 20 min from Caribe Cove. Buy Lightning Lane Multi Pass for the day only if the early return windows look strong; otherwise use your annual-pass flexibility and skip anything with a posted wait over about 25 minutes. Aim to arrive before official open so you can use the coolest, lowest-wait part of the day well.
~9:00 AM · Rope Drop
Kilimanjaro Safaris
Africa · Animal Kingdom
Do this first — the animals are most active in the early morning. The whole family can ride together, including the 3-year-old and Lala & Pa. An 18-minute open-air truck ride through a real African savanna with giraffes, elephants, lions, and hippos. Best ride in the park for all ages.
Annual Pass All Ages
~10:00 AM
Pandora — The World of Avatar
Pandora · Animal Kingdom
Even just walking through Pandora is incredible — the floating mountains and bioluminescent plants are unlike anything else at Disney. Two rides here:
·
Na'vi River Journey — gentle dark boat ride, no height requirement, the whole family can ride. Beautiful bioluminescent forest.
·
Avatar Flight of Passage — 44" minimum. 6yo can ride (44.5"). Incredible flying simulator. Use rider swap so adults take turns with the 3yo.
Kid-Friendly
~11:30 AM
Trails & Exploration
AK has the best non-ride experiences at Disney. All free, all no-wait:
·
Gorilla Falls Trail — real gorillas, meerkats, hippos. Right next to Kilimanjaro Safaris exit.
·
Maharajah Jungle Trek — tigers, bats, komodo dragons. Self-paced, shaded.
·
The Boneyard — giant outdoor dig-site playground. The kids will not want to leave.
Free · No Wait
~10:15 AM
Joffrey's Donut Stop
Animal Kingdom entrance kiosk / Discovery Island loop-back
Do this only after breakfast and Safari. Split one donut or a mini-donut order, then chase it with water so the kids get the fun without turning the rest of the morning into a sugar crash.
~12:30 PM
Lunch at Animal Kingdom
·
Flame Tree Barbecue — best quick service in the park. Ribs, chicken, pulled pork. Shaded waterfront seating.
·
Satu'li Canteen — Pandora · build-your-own bowls, surprisingly good. Cool alien theming inside.
·
Dawa Bar — easy adult beer/cocktail stop in Harambe while the kids reset with a snack.
·
Nomad Lounge — best adult break in the park if everyone needs AC, a drink, and a slower pace.
Lunch
Route-Based Adult Drink Stops
Animal Kingdom Sips Without Extra Walking
Keep the drinks tied to where you are already going so the adults get a break without creating a whole second mission.
·
Tamu Tamu Refreshments — near the Safari / Harambe side for a Dole Whip with rum on the natural post-Safari path.
·
Dawa Bar — easiest beer or cocktail stop in Africa while the kids snack or reset.
·
Nomad Lounge — best shaded cocktail break near the bridge toward Pandora if everyone needs a slower pace.
·
Pongu Pongu — quick Pandora drink stop if you are already over there for Flight of Passage or Na'vi.
~1:30 PM
Afternoon Adventures
Catch what you missed in the morning. AK closes earlier than other parks, so don't save too much.
·
Expedition Everest — 44" min. 6yo can ride. Roller coaster through the Himalayas. Rider swap for 3yo if the posted wait is reasonable.
·
Kali River Rapids — 38" min. Great in June heat, but skip it if the line spikes.
·
Festival of the Lion King — incredible live show, all ages, air-conditioned theater.
·
Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond! — another great low-wait, air-conditioned reset.
·
Discovery Island Trails — perfect fallback whenever wait times get stupid.
~4:00 PM
Head Back to the Condo
AK closes earlier than other parks. Head back for pool time, showers, and a relaxed evening. First full day — don't overdo it. Save the energy for later in the week.
~6:00 PM
Dinner — Night One
First family dinner — keep it easy and close to the condo:
·
Portillo's — Sand Lake Rd · Chicago-style dogs, Italian beef, fries, and a cake shake if you want to go all in.
·
Ford's Garage — burgers, fries, good beer list, easy family dinner energy.
·
Flippers Pizzeria — easy win with kids if everyone is smoked.

Vibe
Slides, lazy river, pool, take it easy
Donuts
Best around 10:45 after some swimming, not before the big slides. At Typhoon Lagoon, use the Joffrey's Donut Cart near Singapore Sal's; at Blizzard Beach, use the Joffrey's kiosk near Lottawatta Lodge. Share a small order with protein and lots of water to avoid a mid-day crash.
~9:30 AM
Water Park Morning
Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach
Check which water park is open because Disney rotates availability. Typhoon Lagoon has the big wave pool and calmer kid zones; Blizzard Beach has the snow theme and Tike's Peak. Keep this day intentionally loose — if lines for the major slides look annoying, just pivot to the lazy river, kid area, and snacks.
·
Ketchakiddee Creek (Typhoon Lagoon) — perfect for the little one, shallow water, mini slides.
·
Lazy river — everyone loves it, especially Lala and Pa.
·
Family raft slides — do these only if the waits stay reasonable.
Kid-Friendly
~10:45 AM
Joffrey's Donut Stop
Typhoon Lagoon donut cart near Singapore Sal's / Blizzard kiosk near Lottawatta Lodge
Best after some swimming, not before the first slides. Share a small order, then do water plus real lunch later so the kids don't spike and crash in the noon heat.
~12:30 PM
Lunch at the Water Park
Both parks have quick-service spots — burgers, pizza, chicken tenders. Eat before leaving so you don't have to deal with hangry kids in the car.
Lunch
Route-Based Adult Drink Stops
Water Park Sips
This is the easiest adult drink day of the trip because you can keep it tied to floating, snack breaks, and kid rest windows.
·
Typhoon Lagoon · Leaning Palms — best central frozen drink stop because you naturally pass it multiple times.
·
Typhoon Lagoon · Lowtide Lou's — easy beer or cocktail stop near the wave-pool side.
·
Blizzard Beach · Polar Pub — simplest grab-and-go adult drink stop if Blizzard is the open park.
🚗 Back to condo
~2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Pool & Condo Time
Caribe Cove Resort · Pool
The resort pool is the whole point of the afternoon. Kids will go right back in the water. Lala and Pa can supervise while you nap. Sunscreen reapply — Florida sun in June is no joke. Keep cold drinks, fruit, and simple snacks in the condo so nobody crashes before dinner.
~5:30 PM
Evening at Disney Springs
Disney Springs · Lake Buena Vista
Low-key evening — no park ticket needed. Walk around, window shop, let the kids ride the little train. Free parking.
·
The Boathouse — waterfront dining, amphicars, great steaks and seafood.
·
Chicken Guy! — easy button if the kids are done.
·
Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar — good adult cocktail stop if you want one more drink without a full sit-down dinner.

~8:30 AM · Rope Drop
Morning at Hollywood Studios
Disney's Hollywood Studios
This is a Toy Story Land priority morning, not a marathon day. Buy Lightning Lane Multi Pass and make Slinky Dog Dash your first selection so Dad and the 6-year-old are protected even if standby blows up. Rope drop Slinky only if the posted wait still looks sane; otherwise start with something nearby and use your return window.
·
Slinky Dog Dash — absolute priority for Dad + 6yo. Do not gamble on a giant standby line if you already have Lightning Lane.
·
Alien Swirling Saucers — right next door and easy for both kids.
·
Toy Story Mania — whole-family win and one of the best uses of a shorter morning line.
·
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway — adorable, any height, great fallback if Toy Story Land gets slammed.
Annual Pass Kid-Friendly
~11:00 AM
Low-Wait Reset Before Lunch
Disney's Hollywood Studios
Once the major waits climb, stop forcing the day. This is the time for AC, characters, Disney Junior, Frozen Sing-Along, or just letting the kids breathe. Because you have annual passes, the right move is often not to stand in line.
~10:30 AM
Joffrey's Donut Stop
Pixar Place entrance near Toy Story Midway Mania
Only do this after Slinky and a real breakfast. Split one donut, get water, and move right into an AC reset or your next Lightning Lane so the sugar gets buffered instead of turning into a crash.
~12:30 PM
Lunch at Studios
·
Woody's Lunch Box — Toy Story Land · totchos, grilled cheese, milkshakes.
·
Backlot Express — standard fare, lots of seating, easy with kids.
·
Baseline Tap House — strong adult beer stop if one parent wants a quick break while the rest of the crew sits nearby.
Lunch
Route-Based Adult Drink Stops
Hollywood Studios Sips
Keep this to one or two stops max so you protect the short, successful morning instead of stretching the park into a grind.
·
Woody's Lunch Box — easiest first adult drink because you are already in Toy Story Land after Slinky Dog.
·
Baseline Tap House — best overall beer stop with shade and easy seating once you drift toward Grand Avenue.
·
Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge — optional nicer cocktail if the crew still has energy and you want one civilized stop before leaving.
~1:45 PM · Exit While You're Ahead
Leave Studios Before the Grind Starts
Back to Caribe Cove
With small kids, this is the moment to cash out a good morning instead of forcing a second park. If waits are rising and moods are dipping, head back for pool time or naps. You can always use another park day later because you are not one-and-done visitors.
🚗 Back to condo · Pool & nap · 1–2 hrs
~2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Pool & Nap Break
Head back to Caribe Cove. Pool, nap, recharge. This break makes the MK hop actually doable with small kids. Don't skip it — everyone needs the reset in June heat.

Dinner & Drinks at MK
MK has limited alcohol but it exists. Combine dinner with a drink:
·
Skipper Canteen — Adventureland, fun atmosphere, cocktails with dinner
·
Be Our Guest — Beast's castle, best theming, beer/wine/cocktails (reservation recommended)
·
Liberty Tree Tavern — Thanksgiving-style dinner, beer and cider
·
Casey's Corner — Main Street, hot dogs and fries if everyone's too tired for sit-down
·
Aloha Isle — Dole Whip with rum for dessert (yes, really)
Dinner
~9:00 PM · If Kids Are Awake
Happily Ever After Fireworks
Castle projections and fireworks. Find a spot on Main Street 30 min early. If everyone's cooked, skip it — you have annual passes. Beat the exit rush by leaving 5 min before the finale.

Donuts
Best around 1:30 or later as a shared treat once you are already settled into EPCOT. Use the Joffrey's kiosk near the World Showcase entrance by Disney Traders or the kiosk between the United Kingdom and Canada. Earlier sugar plus June heat is a recipe for a cranky afternoon with kids.

🍹 Drink Guide
Best Unique Drinks
Avocado Margarita — La Cava del Tequila, Mexico pavilion
This is the most famous must-do cocktail in EPCOT and the clearest “best unique drink” pick in the whole itinerary.
Orange slush / Le Geant Slush — Les Vins des Chefs de France, France pavilion
One of the most iconic EPCOT drinks and excellent in the heat because it drinks like a dessert-slush instead of a heavy cocktail.
Welsh Dragon — Rose & Crown Pub, United Kingdom pavilion
Most fun colorful pub-cocktail stop on your route and an easy family-friendly pavilion to pause in.
Beer stop — UK Beer Cart or Sommerfest in Germany
Best “no fuss” grab-and-go beer options when you want to keep moving with small kids.
Route-Optimized Stops
Best opener: Mexico for La Cava once your first major EPCOT rides are done.
Middle-of-loop easy stop: UK Beer Cart or Rose & Crown depending on whether you want fast or nicer.
Best late-afternoon treat: France orange slush as a cooling reset before deciding whether to keep looping or call it.
Parent Note
Because EPCOT is your favorite park, this is the one place where a slow 3–4 drink day can make sense. Still pair each stop with shade, a snack, and at least one kid-interest reset between drinks.
~9:00 AM
Slow Start at the Condo
Caribe Cove Resort
Sleep in a bit, eat a real breakfast, and buy Lightning Lane Multi Pass for EPCOT. Stack the best return windows before you ever leave. This keeps the day much more realistic with small kids than trying to rope drop yet another park.
~11:15 AM
Head to EPCOT for the Main Event
EPCOT · Walt Disney World
This is the favorite-park day, so give EPCOT real time instead of squeezing it in around other plans. Once you redeem your first Lightning Lane, start rebooking based on what is open next and keep skipping ugly standby lines.
Annual Pass Flexible Day
~12:00 PM
Future World First
World Celebration / World Nature / World Discovery
Use your early Lightning Lanes and easy all-ages rides before looping World Showcase.
·
Spaceship Earth — easy opener for everyone.
·
The Seas with Nemo & Friends — ride plus aquarium is a huge win for the little one.
·
Living with the Land — calm boat ride, indoor, and weirdly perfect in the heat.
·
Soarin' or Test Track — only if the return time is good for Dad + 6yo.
~1:30 PM
Joffrey's Treat Window
EPCOT
This is the safest donut window of the trip. Target the Joffrey's kiosk near the World Showcase entrance by Disney Traders if you want the easiest stop, or use the kiosk between the United Kingdom and Canada later in the loop. The kids have already eaten real food, burned energy, and are not trying to rope drop anything important. Share one donut or a small order, pair it with water, and keep moving so nobody face-plants into a sugar crash.
~2:00 PM
World Showcase Loop
World Showcase · EPCOT
This is where EPCOT shines for your family. Take it slow, use Kidcot stops, and let the adults snack and sip while the pace stays manageable.
·
Frozen Ever After — top family priority if you booked it.
·
Gran Fiesta Tour — low-stress Mexico boat ride and a great air-conditioned backup.
·
La Cava del Tequila — start in Mexico with the adults' best cocktail stop before the loop gets busier.
·
Germany pavilion beer cart — easiest mid-loop beer stop without a full sit-down break.
·
France slush / wine stop — quick rewarding stop once you are deeper into the loop and everyone has already eaten.
·
Rose & Crown — strong United Kingdom beer stop if you still want one more before dinner.
Route-Based Adult Drink Stops
EPCOT Sips Without Forcing the Loop
EPCOT is the easiest place to layer adult drinks into the day, but the goal is still a family pace. Stop when it feels fun, not because you are trying to check every box.
·
Mexico · La Cava del Tequila — best first cocktail if you enter the Showcase from that side.
·
Germany · beer cart — easiest mid-route beer grab with minimal commitment.
·
France · frozen slush or wine — best later-afternoon stop once the kids are already settled into Showcase mode.
·
United Kingdom · Rose & Crown — nice last stop before heading toward dinner or the front of the park.
~5:30 PM
Dinner at EPCOT
World Showcase · EPCOT
Keep dinner easy and flexible so you can follow the kids' energy level.
·
Regal Eagle Smokehouse — easiest beer + barbecue play for the adults.
·
Les Halles / France quick service — easy pastries, sandwiches, and kid-friendly options.
·
Connections Eatery — boring in a good way if everyone just needs food fast.
Dinner
~9:00 PM
Luminous — The Symphony of Us
World Showcase Lagoon · EPCOT
If the kids still have something left in the tank, close the trip with the nighttime show. If not, skip it without guilt and leave on a high note anyway.
The Flight Home
Sunday · June 21
~6:00 AM · Wake Up
Pack & Go
Early morning — flight is at 9:10 AM. MCO is about 25 minutes from the condo, so have Lala and Pa rolling early. Aim to be at the airport by 7:00 AM. Keep breakfast protein-heavy and simple instead of doing a sugar bomb before the flight. Say goodbye to Lala and Pa.

Park Swap-Ins
★★Magic Kingdom Full Day
Classics
If you want a dedicated MK day instead of just a hop, swap it in. The 3yo can ride almost everything — It's a Small World, Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, Dumbo, Mad Tea Party, Carrousel, Winnie the Pooh, Buzz Lightyear. The 6yo at 44.5" unlocks Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. MK has the most rides for both kids by far.
★★EPCOT Full Day
World Showcase
If the trip starts to feel best at EPCOT, lean into it. A real EPCOT day lets you stack Lightning Lanes, use AC-heavy rides, snack around the world, and avoid the most line-heavy chaos in the other parks. For your family, this is probably the best upgrade.
Second Magic Kingdom Day
Repeat
With annual passes, you can always go back. If the kids had favourites from Day 1, a second MK day lets them re-ride without rushing. Go in the evening only to avoid the worst heat.
Non-Disney Activities
★★Boggy Creek Airboat Rides
Nature
2001 E Southport Rd · Kissimmee
30-minute or 1-hour airboat tours through the Florida Everglades headwaters. See wild alligators, turtles, bald eagles. Kids must wear ear protection (provided). The 1-hour tour goes deeper into the swamp. About 15 min from the condo. Morning is best for wildlife.
★★Fun Spot America
Rides
2850 Florida Plaza Blvd · Kissimmee
Small amusement park with go-karts, kiddie rides, roller coasters, and an arcade. Free admission — pay per ride or buy a wristband. Good for a 2-hour visit. Right off 192, very close to the condo.
ICON Park
I-Drive
8375 International Dr · Orlando
The big observation wheel, Sea Life Aquarium, and Madame Tussauds. Touristy but the kids enjoy the aquarium and the wheel has great views. About 20 min from the condo. Skip if you've done it before.
Celebration Town
Walk
Celebration, FL
Disney-designed town with a pretty lakefront, small shops, and restaurants. Good for a quiet morning walk or brunch. Feels like a Disney version of a small town — because it literally is. 10 min from the condo.
★★Congo River Mini Golf
Evening
Multiple locations on 192
Mini golf with caves, waterfalls, and live alligators in the ponds. The older kid can play, the little one can feed the gators (supervised, with provided food). Great evening activity when everyone's park-tired. Right on 192.
Rainy Day Options
★★Crayola Experience
I-Drive
Florida Mall · 8001 S Orange Blossom Trail
Interactive crayon factory experience — kids can name and wrap their own crayons, do art projects, play on indoor playground. Perfect rainy day activity for 2–3 hours. Inside the Florida Mall, so you can grab food there too.
Movie Day
Easy
Sometimes the best plan is no plan. Check what's playing at the local AMC or Cinemark, grab popcorn, and let everyone decompress. The condo is also fine — stream something, make popcorn, let the kids have a lazy morning.
Dining Favourites
★★★Portillo's
Must-Do
7635 W Sand Lake Rd · Orlando
Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef, chocolate cake shake. Fast, affordable, and delicious. If you haven't been, it's a must. Big menu that works for everyone from Lala & Pa to picky kids.
★★Ford's Garage
Burgers & Beer
Near Disney / Orlando area
Good local-feeling dinner without being fussy. Strong burger menu for the kids and a real beer list for the adults. Good night-one option when everyone still wants something easy.
★★4 Rivers Smokehouse
BBQ
Multiple Orlando locations
Orlando's best BBQ — brisket, pulled pork, burnt ends. Kid-friendly with mac & cheese and corn. Lines can be long at peak lunch — go at 11 or after 1.
★★Bento Asian Kitchen
Quick
Multiple Orlando locations
Fast-casual Asian with build-your-own bowls. Good variety — Thai, Japanese, Chinese. Affordable, quick, and the kids can get teriyaki chicken and rice without fuss.

Disney passes
Annual
Annual passes with park hopper. Check for blockout dates and confirm whether your first park of the day needs a reservation under the current pass rules. The cleanest move is to have your entry plan settled in My Disney Experience before the trip.
Ride status re-check
1 Week Out
Re-check the official Disney app and attraction pages about a week before the trip for refurbishments or surprise downtime. The itinerary is now built around currently listed attractions, but June maintenance can still change.
Dining reservations
Book Ahead
If you want Be Our Guest, Crystal Palace, or San Angel Inn, book 60 days in advance. Otherwise this itinerary is intentionally built to work well with quick service and mobile ordering.
Park reservations
Required
Check current annual-pass entry rules before the trip. Depending on the date, you may still need a reservation, but passholders can sometimes enter without one on good-to-go days or after 2:00 PM (except certain Magic Kingdom rules). Verify this in My Disney Experience before you leave.

Florida in June is brutal. Reapply every 2 hours. Bring the spray kind for easy kid application. Sunscreen inside the parks is $15+ a bottle.
Cooling towels
Game Changer
Wet them, snap them, drape around necks. They stay cool for hours. These are the difference between a meltdown and a good day. Bring one per person.
Fans, misters & backup cooling gear
Ship It
Have Amazon deliver handheld fans, a stroller fan, mini misters, extra cooling towels, and maybe electrolyte sticks to the condo before you leave. This is the kind of boring prep that makes June Disney much more survivable.
Stroller
Essential
Bring your own or use one at the condo. Disney stroller rental exists but is expensive. A lightweight umbrella stroller works fine — the little one will crash mid-day and you'll need it.
Ponchos
Afternoon Storms
Florida has afternoon thunderstorms almost every day in June. They blow through in 30–45 minutes. Pack disposable ponchos — they're $1 at Dollar Tree vs $12 at Disney. Keep them in the park bag at all times.
Portable phone charger
MDE App
The My Disney Experience app eats battery — Lightning Lane, wait times, mobile ordering, photos. Bring a portable charger or two. Disney rents FuelRod chargers in the parks but they're pricey.
Clothing
Moisture-wicking everything
Heat
Cotton is miserable in Florida humidity. Athletic/moisture-wicking shirts and shorts for park days. Bring an extra shirt in the park bag — you'll get soaked from sweat or rain or water rides. Comfortable walking shoes that can get wet.
Swimsuits (2 per kid)
Rotation
One drying, one wearing. Between the water park, pool, and splash pads, you'll go through them. Rash guards for the kids — saves sunscreen battles.
